Hi, I'm Mandy! Wife, mother, and cookbook addict who can't stop photographing what I make in the kitchen. Sometimes, I photograph people too.

In 2010, I found myself constantly intrigued by the sudden burst of photography blogs to be found online. From fashion to food to weddings- I was consuming it all. I was uncertain what niche drew me in the most, but I knew with certainty that I wanted to be one of the creatives providing beautiful images to the world.

Summer of that same year I attended Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, Montana. I left school with the intention of pursuing a career in fashion or wedding photography. While both fields were fascinating to me, I kept feeling myself pulled out from behind the camera and in front of the stove.

Over the next year, Instagram emerged. Yet, food photography was still a relatively small field, existing solely for food product promotions, restaurant promotions and colorful cookbooks. It certainly wasn't something restaurants needed for social media and food photography accounts were simply a hobby. I wrote off a career in food photography and kept my passion for cooking in the kitchen.

Fast forward several years and I found myself working as a restaurant manager and a wedding event coordinator. Food blogs were now an everyday staple in our world. People combed the internet for the world's best taco recipe, but if it wasn't accompanied by an amazing photo people wouldn't find it. If your restaurant didn't have a social media account showcasing aesthetically pleasing photos of your food, newer generations wouldn't find you. The need for food photography had burst beyond what I ever imagined it could back in 2010!

It was time.

Time to pick my camera back up and merge the two worlds I love so much.

So, here I am.

Here to photograph your products.

Your recipes.

Your restaurant menu.

Provide you with images for a beautiful social media.

And occasionally, I'll even photograph you.
